Features of INTEL Core i7 10700 10th Generation Processor

As add-ons it has turbo boost max technology, hyper-threading technology, Virtualization Technology as well as Enhanced Intel Speed Step Technology, Thermal Monitoring Technology. INTEL CORE i7 10700 DESKTOP PROCESSOR even has a MAX MEMORY SUPPORT 128 GB. The CPU cooler is included to offer efficient cooling and better performance.

Super powerful INTEL CORE i7 10700 DESKTOP PROCESSOR comes with the warranty of not just one or two but three whole years!! There is no need to worry about any risks for three years.

The Intel Core i7 10700 Processor is a desktop processor with 8 cores, launched in April 2020. It is part of the Core i7 lineup, using the Comet Lake architecture with Socket 1200. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 16 threads. Core i7-10700 has 16 MB of L3 cache and operates at 2.9 GHz by default, but can boost up to 4.8 GHz, depending on the workload.

Intel is making the Core i7-10700 on a 14 nm production node, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on Core i7-10700, which limits its overclocking potential.

With a TDP of 65 W, the Core i7-10700 consumes typical power levels for a modern PC. Intel’s processor supports DDR4 memory with a dual-channel interface. The highest officially supported memory speed is 2933 MT/s, but with overclocking (and the right memory modules) you can go even higher.

For communication with other components in the computer, Core i7-10700 uses a PCI-Express Gen 3 connection. This processor features the UHD Graphics 630 integrated graphics solution.

Hardware virtualization is available on the Core i7-10700, which greatly improves virtual machine performance. Additionally, IOMMU virtualization (PCI passthrough) is supported, so that guest virtual machines may directly use host hardware. Programs using Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) can run on this processor, boosting performance for calculation-heavy applications. Besides AVX, Intel is including the newer AVX2 standard, too, but not AVX-512.

The Intel core i7 10th Gen processor is among the best processors for those who want functional performance for the intel i7 processor price.
