ACT 20m HDMI High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable w/ Detach

ACT 20m HDMI High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable w/ Detach | Long HDMI reach for distant connections

When an HDMI connection needs to span a long distance, a short standard lead can leave you rearranging equipment or rethinking the route. The ACT 20m HDMI High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable w/ Detach is a 20-metre cable for that kind of run. Its identified as High Speed, 4K and active optical, with a detachable design. That makes it relevant when youre planning a long HDMI connection and want those details stated clearly up front. The honest point is that the title tells us the cables format and headline capabilities, but not which particular devices or installations it suits. So treat it as a cable to consider for a long HDMI run, and match it to the connection your setup requires.

Plan the route before you buy

For a long cable run, measure the path the cable will actually take, rather than the straight-line distance between the two ends. Allow for the route around furniture, along a wall or through an installation, as well as any slack you need at either end. That gives you a more useful measurement than estimating from where the devices sit. Also consider how the cable will be laid and whether its detachable design fits the way you intend to set up the connection. Those checks are simple, but they can save a frustrating change of plan once your equipment is in place. If the intended devices need a particular connector or installation detail, verify that requirement before choosing.
