ACT 25m High Performance VGA Cable Male-Male Black

ACT 25m High Performance VGA Cable Male-Male Black | A longer VGA connection

When a VGA setup has to reach farther than a short lead allows, arranging the equipment around the cable can be a nuisance. The ACT 25m High Performance VGA Cable gives you a longer male-to-male VGA connection, with a black finish. It suits a setup where both ends need male VGA plugs and the cable needs to cover a substantial distance. Its 25m length is the practical detail to consider first: think about the route between the equipment, including any distance around furniture or along a wall. This is a straightforward cable for extending a VGA connection, rather than an adapter or a bundle of different leads. The honest point is that a long cable still needs a sensible route; measure the path you intend to use so you know the reach works for your layout.

Planning the connection

Before choosing a cable for a particular setup, make sure VGA is the connection you need at both ends. The male-to-male format is intended to meet matching female VGA sockets; it wont change one kind of connection into another. That makes the cable relevant when the equipment already has the right sockets and the main challenge is reaching between them. If your equipment is positioned across a room or away from the display, a longer run can give you more freedom in where each piece sits. Keep the intended path in mind, rather than measuring only the straight-line gap. A route that turns around a desk or follows an edge takes more cable than the direct distance. The black finish keeps the cables appearance simple alongside other equipment.
