Saramonic Mini Mic SmartMic + For Phone Jack 3.5mm TRRS

Saramonic Mini Mic SmartMic + For Phone Jack 3.5mm TRRS | A direct mic connection for your phone

For recording spoken clips straight to a phone, the Saramonic Mini Mic SmartMic + gives you a microphone with a 3.5mm TRRS connection for a phone jack. It suits anyone who wants to record a voice note, a short video update or a piece to camera using a phone with that matching jack. The setup is simple in principle: connect the mic to the phone and speak into it while recording. That makes it a focused option for phone-based voice recording, rather than a microphone described for a wider range of equipment. The key detail to check is the connection: your phone needs a 3.5mm TRRS jack. If it has a different socket, this products stated connection wont match. For the right phone, the SmartMic + keeps the job centred on capturing speech without adding a separate recording device to the description.

Specialist Note

The 3.5mm TRRS plug is the detail that determines how this mic fits your setup: it connects to a phone jack of the same type, so you can keep a spoken recording on the phone itself. The Mini Mic name also makes its purpose clearits a small, dedicated microphone for phone use, not a general-purpose studio mic. Id consider it for a short interview or a piece-to-camera; connect it to the matching jack, then keep your speech directed towards the mic as you record. The honest limitation is that the jack has to match. If your phone doesnt have a 3.5mm TRRS socket, this isnt the direct connection for it.
