TetherTools Leverlock & Cable Kit Optima 10G 31′ (9.2m) Straight To S

TetherTools Leverlock & Cable Kit Optima 10G 31′ (9.2m) Straight To S | Long reach for tethered shooting

The defining detail of this TetherTools kit is its 31-foot (9.2m) cable length, giving you more room to arrange a tethered shooting setup than a short lead allows. Its a cable kit in the Optima 10G range, with a Straight To S configuration identified in the product name. That makes it worth considering when the camera and your working position need to be separated by some distance. The length is the main practical point here; it can help keep your setup arranged around the space you have, rather than forcing everything close together. For photographers working tethered, that extra reach may be useful on set or in a studio. The honest caveat is that a longer cable still needs a sensible route, especially where people are moving around.

Before choosing a cable length, think through the actual path it will take between the camera and the other end of your setup. Measure around stands, furniture or other obstacles rather than estimating a straight line, and allow enough slack for the positions you expect to use. The 31-foot (9.2m) length gives you a clear measurement to plan around, but the right amount of reach depends on your working space. Keeping the route in mind also helps you decide where the cable can run without becoming an awkward trip hazard.

The product name includes Straight To S, so thats the configuration to look for when identifying this version. It also names the Optima 10G range. Those details are useful when comparing product listings; the full name is specific, so keep it handy if youre matching this kit to a setup or an existing cable. Wed treat the stated length as the key planning detail and make sure your intended route fits within it.
