TetherTools TetherPro USB-C to USB-C (9.4m) Straight to Right Angle

TetherTools TetherPro USB-C to USB-C (9.4m) Straight to Right Angle | Long reach with a right-angle connection

What sets this TetherPro cable apart is its combination of a 9.4-metre length and two differently shaped ends: one straight and one right angle. Its for photographers setting up a tethered camera workflow who need a cable that can run between positions without both connectors pointing the same way. The long reach gives you more room to place your working position relative to the camera, while the angled end can suit a connection where a straight plug would project in an awkward direction. The other end is straight, so the two ends offer different ways to approach your setup. Its a straightforward bit of kit, and the useful detail is the mixed connector shape rather than any claim about speed or extra features. If your setup calls for USB-C at both ends and this length, this is the specific layout to consider.

Planning a tethered setup

Before you route a cable, think about where each end needs to sit and which way it should leave its connection point. Thats especially helpful when one end is easier to reach from the side than from directly in front. Leave a clear path between your working position and the camera, and avoid placing the cable where people need to walk or where it could catch on nearby equipment. A little planning can make the physical layout easier to manage; the cables length and end shapes give you options, but the best route depends on your own space. Keep those practical details in mind when choosing a cable for a tethered setup. The key question is whether this particular length and end arrangement suits the positions you need.
