SWIT S-7114 S-7114 | D-Tap To Lockable Pole-Tap DC Cable

SWIT S-7114 D-Tap To Lockable Pole-Tap DC Cable | Connects two DC plug types

Without a cable with the right ends, connecting a D-Tap output to a lockable Pole-Tap DC connection means finding another way to bridge them. The SWIT S-7114 is made for that specific connection: it runs from D-Tap to Lockable Pole-Tap and carries DC. It suits a setup that already uses those connector types and needs a cable between them. The useful point is its clearly defined pairing, rather than any claim that it fits a particular camera or power system. Theres no mystery to its job: it links one named connection to the other. If those are the ends your setup calls for, this cable gives you the matching link; if they arent, this isnt a catch-all DC lead.

Made for the connection you need

With power cabling, the connector at each end determines where a lead can be used. Here, one end is D-Tap and the other is a lockable Pole-Tap DC connection. That makes the S-7114 a specific-purpose cable, not a general-purpose answer for every DC device. Start with the connection youre linking from, then consider the connection at the device end. The names need to match the ports in your setup; the cables role is to join those two types.

The lockable wording is useful when identifying the Pole-Tap end: it tells you which connector style to look for. It doesnt make the cable a power source on its own; it provides the cable connection between compatible endpoints. Thats a straightforward job, but a particular one. For a neatly planned power setup, choosing the lead by its two connector names is the practical place to start.
